🎨 EASY DIY PAINTING GUIDE

- Test-fit the guards on your bike before painting, then remove them for surface preparation and coating.
- Lightly scuff them using 600–800 grit sandpaper or a fine gray scuff pad.
- Clean with a surface-compatible cleaner and a lint-free cloth. If using isopropyl alcohol, test a hidden area first and let the surface dry completely.
- Use an adhesion promoter suitable for the guard material and your chosen paint system, following the product label.
- Apply multiple light coats of compatible paint.
- Add a compatible clear coat if desired.
- Allow the coating to fully cure according to the paint manufacturer’s instructions. Plan for at least 48–72 hours, or longer if your paint system requires it.
- Install only after the coating has fully cured.
